Research and Development
Constant development and evolution of our product range has kept Aura at the forefront of fabric architecture for over 15 years.
We are passionate about providing our customers with a competitive range of standard products alongside an innovative approach to bespoke projects. Please follow the link here to view our range of modular canopies which continue to evolve and provide our customers with a cost effective off-the-shelf solution for their covered space needs.
Long standing working partnerships with technical fabric manufacturers allows us to continually liaise with them as they develop new fabrics and different printing processes. These relationships are the foundation upon which we continue to evolve the TEXO® fabric cladding system (follow this link for further information). It is now an ultimately flexible cladding panel, proven to deliver practical and aesthetic challenges which couldn’t be met by any other construction material. TEXO® has also been very successfully used for a multitude of external and internal projects such as ceiling and partitioning schemes, as well as for exhibition stands.
Integrated solar power generation
For a long time it has seemed to us that the large fabric roof spans and huge vertical areas of fabric cladding that we install present a missed opportunity for solar power generation. And we are now pleased to say that the opportunity for tensile fabric structures and fabric cladding to generate energy from the sun is getting very much closer.
The next phase of the evolution of our TEXO® fabric cladding system is the addition of thin film photovoltaic fabric and testing of very large lightweight arrays is well underway. The results, so far, are very positive. Watch this space for further updates.
