A linear monopitch canopy from Aura is the ideal solution to create that inside outside experience, an extension of your current indoor space. This solution is very popular with schools who need to accommodate larger numbers of students than their existing dining hall or class rooms were built for. Students can move out underneath the canopy and enjoy a fully waterproof, and bright space with suitable heat reflection to ensure a comfortable, breathable space. Our canopies also help with reduced heat gain in the adjacent indoor rooms, providing comfort in which your students can properly concentrate.

A linear monopitch canopy is, essentially, a ‘lean-to’ installed next to your building. The canopy can be freestanding or fixed to the building, depending on the current construction of the building itself. We can provide your installation with or without guttering. And if you require walls, we can discuss a range of options to best facilitate the comfort factor of your structure. The benefit of the Aura approach to these canopies is the flexibility that the design offers. The framework has the strength to allow us to reduce the numbers of columns to ground enabling a maximum distance between columns of 10m.

All of our canopies are made to order which means that the columns can be positioned according to your individual needs, accommodating existing doors, windows, underground utilities and any access needs. This canopy design also allows you the flexibility of different roof construction. You can specify poly carbonate, toughened glass or our range of fabric options including ETFE panels (within our TEXO® system) with which we can create almost any desired effect including printing of branding designs or logos.
