You might be accustomed to the Jumbrella or giant aluminium parasol type pub umbrella structures that don’t fare too well in rough weather and, before long, can look tatty or bend and break. This probably means that you are constantly having to close or replace them, or are concerned with the poor image that a worn parasol canopy sends out to your prospective customers. Not to mention the fact that your customers might not actually be able to sit comfortably under them if it’s a bit blowy.

Aura Canopies, unlike standard Jumbrellas, are tensile fabric structures, architecturally designed and engineered to withstand wind speeds of 120km/h which means that they will retain their shape and fabric quality for years to come and will not need to be closed unless the weather conditions are unusually extreme.

Pub Umbrellas that are virtually maintenance free

The architectural fabric we use offers a high degree of light transmission, provides UV protection and is waterproof. It is a highly coated architectural fabric that prevents dirt ingress into the weave so any dirt or debris simply washes off – it’s actually a type of Teflon coating. So you will not have the endless treadmill of repairing and cleaning your umbrellas or parasols; all they need is a wash down and a quick check of the structure once a year (or after extreme weather conditions).

We can also provide and install heating and lighting as well branding canopies for you. Over the last 20 years we have helped companies such as Fullers, Youngs and Shepherd Neame to create beautiful outside spaces especially in challenging environments like the Kent coast and the Thames riverside.
