Specification
At Aura we are committed to applying our 20+ years experience of designing and installing over 1600 fabric structures to every enquiry that we receive, no matter how large or small.
We will take time to understand your requirements and put together a specification for the solution that will meet, and we hope exceed, your needs in terms of practicality, aesthetics and of course budget.
You can expect us to apply our knowledge to understanding the purpose that you want to structure to fulfil, any design ideas you may have had plus the details of your site for example its geometry, topology and access. We can then provide you with options from our modular range of canopy styles (see links on the right hand side of this page) which are our off the shelf designs developed with cost efficiency in mind. If a modular solution is not suitable then we can design a bespoke canopy for you or suggest what we call a semi-custom solution drawing from our vast library of previous projects and adapting it if necessary to your unique needs.
Throughout this process you will have a choice of materials used and we will recommend those that best suit your specification. For example you can choose fabrics from a range of 40 colours, specify the degree of light transmission or choose a mesh fabric depending on the structure we are discussing. The structural frame supporting the canopy can also be specified in steel as standard, aluminium or wood as recent customers are increasingly choosing. Free site survey
In order to finalise our proposal for you it is normally essential that we visit your site and check details such as ground conditions, presence of any services or other obstacles to installation, accurate measurements if attaching the canopy to a building and accessibility of your site. This service is of course provided to you free of charge. We are quite likely to have already asked you to provide photographs of the site but it is only through careful assessment and attention to detail that we can give you an accurate cost proposal and achieve a smooth installation.
The cost proposal is the final stage in our specification phase and will detail the structure we propose, all materials that we have agreed and the full cost of installation. So you get one price to cover the full service from manufacture to a final structure installed for you to enjoy for years to come.
